Bartow Ethanol of Florida produces distilled alcohol from citrus fruit.  Its product is used in things such as wine, wine coolers, food flavorings and vinegar.

Bartow Ethanol uses citrus fruit to manufacture its products; therefore its production season begins in November and ends in late June or early July. 

The plant employs a dozen workers, 11 of whom are full-time.

Bartow Ethanol is excited about its future, which may include the production of fuel-grade ethanol.

With the additional product lines, Bartow Ethanol could hire another 10 full-time employees.
